Brisbane Correctional Centre Water Tank Replacement

Every worker on this job needed security clearance before starting, and the work ran under the centre's security requirements from the first day. Inside that regime, we replaced one of the two 30,000 litre tanks that buffer the town water supply to the centre's main laundry.

The laundry runs seven days a week and kept its supply through the changeover. We moved water from the failed tank into the working one, removed the old tank, and set the new one on a compacted pad and ring beam finished level with the nearby pump pads. Every gate on the path of travel was checked in advance so neither tank needed a fence or gate modified.
