Two damaged decking sheets on the Riedel Park pontoon, assessed from photographs and replaced quickly to keep the deck open.
A damaged sheet on a pontoon deck is a trip hazard from the moment it is reported. In February 2026 photographs came through showing damage to two decking sheets on the Riedel Park pontoon, and the repair had to happen quickly so the public could keep using the floating deck.
We assessed the damage from those photographs and a site discussion, then replaced both sheets. The crew already knew the structure well. Riedel Park is where we built the boardwalk and fishing platform and later installed the handrail, so the job went straight from assessment to repair.
