Caboolture Golf Club Bridge 1 Repairs
Flood damage repairs to the bridge at the 13th hole at Caboolture Golf Club, with a new balustrade extended along the approaches.
Floods had damaged the bridge at the 13th hole at Caboolture Golf Club. Debris had pushed the balustrade inward, the concrete needed repair and the scour protection slab at the abutment had moved. Members played on around us while we repaired it between September and December 2024.
Flood debris will keep reaching this balustrade, and we designed its replacement around that. The new system is certified for a corrosive zone and continues about 24 metres along the approaches on a new concrete plinth, where a golf cart is most likely to be near the drop. The concrete was repaired back to sound material, and a concrete pump filled the scoured void under the eastern approach slab.
