Mirambeena Drive to Reedmans Road Path, Concept Design

Between Mirambeena Drive and Reedmans Road there was a proposed walking and cycling connection and an unsurveyed corridor. City of Gold Coast engaged us to turn that into a concept design Council could approve, and we delivered it between April and July 2025 with a feature survey, a services investigation, preliminary layouts and a final concept.

The order of the work was the point. The services investigation ran alongside the survey. The layout options Council saw were already shaped by what is buried in the ground. Council compared and commented on those options before one alignment was worked up in detail, because once an alignment is detailed it is much harder to move. Council has the documentation to take the link through approval and on to construction.
